That time I went to Vancouver.

When I think of Vancouver, I think not only of the friends and family I will see, but of the restaurants and bars and shops and stores that I will get to play in. This last trip, of particular impression, was Cafe Medina – a small but charming room, beautiful and delicious food and wonderful Executive Chef Jonathan Chovancek.  I am no food critic by any means, but I do know what I like. And this I liked. And you should go.

Not only did I seek out incredible restaurants, but I visited with these people, and saw these sights:

It should be noted that we were being tracked through the store by a group of employees, who were none too pleased with the live mannequin display.DSC_4495DSC_4467DSC_4486DSC_4490DSC_4525DSC_4537DSC_4572DSC_4503

And to top it all off…my 99 year old grandmother. But more on her later. Vancouver – I love you.

Oooh, I’ll have to try that restaurant. Any place that serves fried eggs on top of things wins in my book :)

As always…your pictures, and words, capture the moment brilliantly…love G.G.’s hands!
